Tawheed

The Message of Tawheed
Allah Ta’ala has declared the sole purpose of creating human beings to be His exclusive worship. Allah the Exalted says:
“I did not create the
jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me.”
{Surah Adh-Dhariyat Ayat 56}
Yet today, despite the clear command of the Sovereign Lord and the pure, bright admonition of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, mankind has fallen into the pit of misguidance. Leaving the One True Allah, he has become involved in worshipping others besides Him. Allah Ta’ala has said:
“And the mosques are
for Allah alone, so do not invoke anyone along with Allah.”
{Surah Al-Jinn Ayat 18}
All those deeds for which the Mercy for the Worlds ﷺ once endured being stoned in the field of Ta’if, once had his blessed tooth broken in the battlefield of Uhud, once saw his daughters divorced, and once witnessed his loyal companions tortured—today those very same acts have been adopted with ease by the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ. Not even once do they ponder that the Prophet ﷺ endured so much pain to stop people from worshipping idols like Laat and Uzza, and yet today we perform that same kind of worship—sometimes in the form of Nizamuddin of Delhi, sometimes in the form of the saint of Baghdad. The Lord has said:
“Have you seen Laat
and Uzza and the third one, Manat?”
{Surah An-Najm Ayat 19–20}
Today humanity once again has forgotten its True Lord and has turned to the worship of others. Today heads are bowing before saints, spiritual leaders, and graves. People have forgotten that these idols are made of stone. These tombs—whether it be Ali Hajweri, Nizamuddin Auliya, Qadir Jilani, or any great saint of the world—none of them can do anything, while the Master Allah can do everything! Regarding the worthlessness of false deities, the Lord says:
“Say, ‘Call upon those
whom you claim besides Allah—they do not possess even an atom’s weight of power
in the heavens or the earth.”
{Surah Saba, Ayat 22}
Today, for small troubles and difficulties, Muslims are selling their faith. A little fever comes, and their necks are tied with amulets. When they are childless, they remember Ali Hajweri—who himself had no children! From the cradle to the grave, the declaration of ‘Laa Ilaha Illallah’ demands that once you have said, “There is no deity except Allah,” it means you have accepted that all false gods in the universe hold no power over anything. Then, whether it be Ghaus-e-Azam Qadir Jilani or Data Ali Hajweri—they are all dead, buried in their graves, possessing not even the slightest power. They were so weak and helpless that when death came to them, they could not close their own eyes, could not bathe themselves, nor could they walk to their own graves—they were carried on four shoulders. About such powerless beings, the Lord says:
“That is Allah, your
Lord—to Him belongs all sovereignty. And those you invoke besides Him do not
possess even the thin skin of a date seed.”
{Surah Fatir Ayat 13}
Regarding such weak and needy beings, you hold the belief that they can fulfill your wishes, while the Lord—who can do everything—is thought of as nothing! It seems that such a person has never understood the meaning of ‘Laa Ilaha Illallah.’ When a child is born to him, he names the child Abdul Nabi, Abdul Ali, Abdul Mustafa, etc.—Na‘uzubillah! The child is granted by Allah, yet the name is given as a slave of Allah’s servants!
It is Allah alone who transforms a drop of fluid into the shape of a baby. It is He who forms that drop into a complete body within the mother’s womb for nine months. And even after birth, He does not abandon it; rather, before the child even enters the world, He produces milk in the mother’s breast—Allahu Akbar!
“He creates you in
your mothers’ wombs, creation after creation, in three layers of darkness—that
is Allah, your Lord.”
{Surah Az-Zumar Ayat 6}
This is the belief of my Jama‘ah, my elders, my predecessors, my youth, and my companions—that the one who removes difficulties, fulfills needs, grants children, and gives life and death is only One—the Unique Being who causes everyone to die, yet death does not come to Him.
“Everyone on earth
will perish, but the Face of your Lord, full of Majesty and Honor, will
remain.”
{Surah Ar-Rahman Ayat 26–27}
Now tell me—the one after whom you named your son—did he create your son’s hand or his foot!?
O people of Hadeeth! Rise up, carrying the zeal of this Tawheed into the field of Da‘wah—the world awaits you! Today we must deliver the message of Tawheed to the polytheists. Stand firm! Become a wall against grave worship. Step forward shoulder to shoulder, sacrifice your body, soul, and wealth for the Tawheed of Allah. And if in this struggle your life is taken, then by the Lord of the Ka‘bah, Paradise is surely yours—In sha Allah!
